AV Commissioning Engineer

Primary Role: Setting up and commissioning audio-visual equipment for enterprise customers. The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for leading, supporting, and interacting with all technicians, field engineers, programmers, and customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret system drawings
  • Review project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation
  • Perform hardware upgrades to all AV components
  • Registration and setting changes of VTC codec endpoints (Cisco, Polycom)
  • Proficient with Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and QSC hardware components
  • Proficient with Crestron Toolbox, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, and Shure software
  • Write, configure, and adjust digital signal processors (DSP) including Biamp and QSC
  • Fine tune audio-video systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Ability to work with a remote system programmer to load and diagnose interfaces

Senior AV Programmer

Primary Role: The Sr. AV Programmer develops programs for enterprise customers to provide them with seamless integration to their audiovisual equipment. The Sr. Programmer is responsible for supporting Junior & Mid-Level AV Programmers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather programming requirements and understanding what is required
  • Proofing design and assisting in any adjustments that may be needed for a functional system.
  • Read and interpret AV systems drawings (CAD)
  • Script and code using Java and/or Python
  • Design and development of custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels
  • Develop systems integration programs for Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, and Biamp systems.

AV Lead Technician

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 dependent upon skillset

Primary Role: The AV Lead Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT-related systems. This position requires thinking independently and working within the specified guidelines with minimal supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead small to large scale AV projects including new construction
  • Assumes responsibility of leading a team of technicians on large-scale AV build outs

Security Systems Design Engineer

Primary Role: The Security Design Engineer will translate the functional and technical requirements provided by the customers and/or sales team, into a complete system design package. The Security Design Engineer will also serve as the technical SME for all internal teams (sales, programming, CAD, operations) throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and understanding complex project solicitations
  • Development of drawing package, List of Material (LOM), System Acceptance Test (SAT) plan, Scope of Work (SOW) and any other specifications required to complete a project design.

AV Field Manager

Primary Role: The AV Field Manager is responsible for all installation and commissioning activities required for successful completion of assigned projects. In addition to providing resources for on-site Audio-Visual Systems installation and commissioning duties, the AV Field Manager will help plan, organize, direct, and control all aspects of the installation and perform quality control measures to ensure customer delight.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plans for and supervises internal team members and external subcontractors on various projects.
  • Identify learning paths for team members that are within alignment of the goals of the division and overall organization.
  • Direct manager of people including, but not limited to, onboarding, training, discipline actions, terminations, payroll, performance management, etc.
  • Select and manage the onboarding process of subcontractors.
  • The ability to assign team resources both internal and external (Subcontractors) to various projects and manage the performance and schedule of these team members.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate project standards and requirements to internal team members and subcontractors.
